Introduction
Time in the Word is Troy Warner's audio teaching ministry. Troy pastors at Calvary Chapel in Lynchburg, VA. Troy's practical, in-depth study of the Bible makes it easy to follow, while challenging to the soul as well. Pastor Troy's teachings have been distributed around the world, and throughout the United States as well. His previous teachings can be found on Calvary Chapel Lynchburg's website.
Pastor Troy has served at Calvary Chapel Lynchburg since it first began in 1994. Prior to the establishing of this fellowship, Troy served as an assistant pastor at Calvary Chapel , Vista, California, under the senior pastor, Brian Brodersen, from 1990-1994. In those four years, Troy ministered as Youth Pastor, and later as, Missions and Young Adults pastor. This was a great time of ministry and an invaluable time of training.
In addition to serving at Calvary Chapel Vista, Troy and his wife Rebecca were missionaries in Australia. From 1988-1990, they ministered in various capacities at a newly established fellowship in Sydney, Australia, Living Word.
Prior to that, Troy and Rebecca had attended Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa where Pastor Chuck Smith provided a wonderful example of teaching the Word and serving the body of Christ. Troy is grateful to the Lord for the opportunity to have been discipled by these men who are committed to the teaching of the Word of God, loving the saints, and are passionate about reaching a lost and dying world.
